Darell Haynes

Known for his warmth and nuance, Grammy award winning tenor Darell Haynes is making a name for himself in the opera world.

He was last seen in the title roles in Idomeneo and La Clemenza di Tito in Berlin and Nash in Fire Shut Up in My Bones at Lyric Opera of Chicago. Other past roles include Froh and Loge(Das Rheingold), Eisenstein(Die Fledermaus), and Bacchus(Ariadne auf Naxos). In Basel, Switzerland, Darell had the honor of performing Creon in Antigone Exp N°2, an opera using intensive augmented reality.

Darell has sung on the stages of The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Deutsche Oper Berlin.
