Saraï Cole is an international soprano celebrated for her rich, powerful voice, drawing comparisons to opera legends such as Birgit Nilsson and Jessye Norman. As a Verdian and Wagnerian specialist, she has captivated audiences around the world with her heartfelt interpretations and commanding stage presence.
Recently, Saraï covered the role of Sieglinde in “Die Walküre” with Regents Opera in London, sang the role of Chrysothemis in "Elektra" with Dramatic Voices Berlin, and gave a solo recital of spirituals with the Songs of life organization in Berlin, Germany, further cementing her reputation as a sought-after and versatile dramatic soprano.
Upcoming Saraï will sing a recital with the Wagner society of Scotland titled Wagner’s Women: Love, Muse, and Myth, sing the role of Bess in Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess” with Hasse Orchester Bergedorf, and will revisit Sieglinde with the American Wagner festival. Offstage, she is known for her warmth, curiosity, and playful sense of humor.
Whether performing on grand stages or in intimate venues, Saraï strives to connect with audiences through the universal language of music and is passionate about making opera accessible and meaningful to all.
